Charlize Theron Designs for TOMS

"Charlize Theron has teamed up with Toms shoes on a charitable limited-edition shoe for the holidays. Inspired by the African baobab tree, the proceeds from the orange or dark blue vegan canvas slip-on will benefit the Charlize Theron African Outreach Project.

"I'm thrilled to have Toms Shoes as a partner," Theron said. "It's exciting that we're able to come together in such a cool and creative way to bring attention to the needs of many South African Youth."

The $54 charitable shoes are available now at tomsshoes.com." ~ InStyle.com

Actually, the shoe is sold out because I really wanted one and checked few days ago. However, you can leave your name and e-mail and the will notify you once it arrives again. ** I am happy to see TOMs do big things :)**

Also, since we are on the theme of TOMs, they have his special Travel task for all their fans where you take a picture of TOMS flag or TOMs wherever you travel. I have some pics from this year, since I didn't know about the contest I didn't try to hard. Here are some that made the cut of TOP 10 of the year...and my fave TOP 2

Fashion alla Suren Seron

In August I was lucky to be invited to my 1st, real fashion show. The designer, Jared Gold, is friend of my buddy Suren who helped film this amazing and very low budget fashion show. What do I exactly consider a real fashion show?? ... well it's not thrown at some random club that goes on while everyone is getting wasted. A real fashion show gives you goosebumps, inspires you and in a weird way, if you're me - it gives you a real high.

Jared Gold is definitely avanat garde and very artistic. He's not a mainstream fashion designer and realistically, not everyone would wear his stuff, even in LA. I loved his collection. It reminded me of few of my favorite spanish designers with its abundance of colors, funky fabric combinations and images on garments (check out Custo Barcelona or Desigual to see what I am talking about). Here are few images from the show:

Also, enjoy a preview of what I saw that night along side Kellan Lutz, Billy Corgan and my date~my buddy Karl ~ in the video below:

Spring 2010 Accessories That Make A Statement ~ affordability questionable ;)

After every Fashion Week in each major Fashion Capital I spend majority of the day at my "day job" researching style.com for the "IT" trends of the season. This year as I glanced through photographs of the Spring preview, I was focussing on accessories and decided to create and editorial about the ones that would permanently warm a spot in my closet, that is if money wasn't an issue.

There is no cohesion in my selection which only stays true to my eclectic fashion style but from left to right is a list of my Top Accessories from Spring Collection 2010.

1) Chanel Wheat brooch
2) Marni leather clutch
3) Tom Binns Bitten Heart brooch
4) Tory Burch Maggie bracelet
5) YSL Rose Red Sandal (Oh La La Sexy)
6) Delfina Delettrez Palm Bracelet
7) Giambattista Valli Red Crock Heels
8) Proenza Schouler futuristic bracelet
9) Manolo "French Mademoiselle" Shoes
10) Jimmy Choo Fringe BoHo clutch

Almost Famous BUT definitely Stylin'

Many of you, just like me, may have fallen in love with Kate Hudson as Penny Lane in one of the best movies of this decade, Almost Famous. Although, later in her career Kate never again played a role so epic, focusing mostly on staring in numerous romantic comedies, her style remained memorable.

I can view fashion from different angles and appreciate & give credit to many statements that I would never take part in. However,I tend to favor fashionistas who share a style similar to mine. In this case, Kate and I may as well be one person. I not only love her every day Boho chic statements, but also adore all of her red carpet looks - having several favorites throughout the years.

I composed a collage of all of Kate's epic red carpet fashion statements with 4 of my favorite in the middle. The 1st, one of course, being the champaign Versace gown which I plan to steal one day from her and get married in :). The 2nd one being the Valentino "hippie" dress - only one I could ever see myself wear to my 1st red carpet outing (Sorry Kate - you must hand it over!)

Here is a list of all designers and events from left to right. I hope you appreciate them as much as I do! :)
